Notice is hereby given that a subcommittee meeting will be held online by the Boulder County Historic Preservation Advisory Board (HPAB) beginning at 3:00 pm to consider the following agenda:

  1. CA-25-0011: Old Town Niwot Historic District – Nelson Hall/ESPR-25-0060: Niwot Hall Accessory Structure
    Request: Certificate of Appropriateness and Expedited Site Plan Review for the construction of an approximately 864 sqft accessory structure behind the hall.
    Location: 195 2nd Avenue, Niwot
    Zoning: Niwot Rural Community District 1 (NRCD1) Zoning District
    Owner/Applicant: Niwot Community Hall

The Boulder County Historic Preservation Advisory Board (HPAB) is an advisory board appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to provide guidance to the county on historic preservation issues. Its primary focus is to review structures and sites for historic significance and to review building or development plans which might affect these resources. HPAB also reviews landmark applications and must approve building plans which result in the alteration of an historic landmark.

Each HPAB meeting is a public hearing, and at the beginning of each meeting anyone may address the Board with historic preservation concerns or questions.
