National Vote Early Day 2024 is Tuesday, October 29!

Four events are planned for this year:

  • 9 – 11 a.m. – Intercambio – 1715 Iron Horse Drive in Longmont
  • 12 – 2 p.m. – Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) – 1575 Yarmouth Avenue in Boulder
  • 4 – 6 p.m. – Association for Community Living (ACL) – 624 Coffman St in Longmont
  • 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. – Avery Brewing – 4910 Nautilus Court North in Gunbarrel

Stop by any of these events to drop off your mail ballot, get an “I voted” sticker, sign up to register to vote (bring friends!), ask elections staff questions, and get elections swag (while supplies last). At all four of these events, we will also be collecting non-perishable food items for donation to EFAA. At Avery Brewing, feel free to grab a table/early dinner/drink with friends or family after saying hello. No RSVP is needed.

RTD announced it will again offer a Zero Fare to Vote day on Vote Early Day to remove a cost barrier for people to travel on RTD services to cast their ballot. RTD’s Board of Directors approved Zero Fare to Vote as a permanent fare change earlier this year. See their press release for details.

Vote Early Day is a nationwide movement of over 2700 election administrators, nonprofits, and businesses that aims to ensure that Americans know their options for voting early so that last-minute problems do not stop them from casting their ballot. This new civic holiday was first celebrated in 2020 and is now an annual event.

Why Vote Early? Returning your ballot early helps us to process ballots efficiently and cuts down on campaign phone calls and texts!
