The Boulder County Board of Adjustment (BOA) hears appeals of any order, requirement, decision, or determination made by the Community Planning & Permitting Director or County Engineer in administering or enforcing Article 4 related provisions (e.g. definitions in Article 18) of the Land Use Code, and considers certain variances from the requirements of Article 4 of. Public Meetings and Hearings
The Board of Adjustment meets as needed on the first Wednesday of the month at 4 p.m. Board of Adjustment meetings and hearings are open to the public.
The Board of Adjustment meeting has been canceled for June 3, 2026. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be on July 1, 2026.

The members of the BOA are county residents appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. Note that members of the Planning Commission may substitute for these individuals as needed.
