Community members are invited to share transit needs, opportunities, and experiences during October and November

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County Community Planning and Permitting has launched a new countywide planning initiative titled Linking Boulder County: A Shared Vision for Transit. Community members are invited to learn about the project and help shape the future of public transit in Boulder County

Linking Boulder County is a vision and action plan to make public transit easier and more useful for people who live, work, and visit Boulder County. Transit includes buses operated by RTD, shuttles to parks and mountains, and shared vehicles like Ride Free Lafayette and paratransit.

This plan is the first time Boulder County has set a countywide vision for transit, and it’s an important opportunity to better serve our community. Ultimately, Linking Boulder County will help public transit meet the needs of our growing county today and into the future.

The community is invited to help us shape the plan and the future of transit in Boulder County this fall, by taking an online Transit Needs Survey, attending a virtual open house, or visiting pop-up events around the county:

• Attend a virtual open house on Thursday, Nov. 6 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Register to attend to hear what we’ve learned and share feedback on transit needs and a vision for the future of transit in Boulder County.
