Boulder County, Colo.

On July 18, 2025, at about 7:30 p.m., The Circle K convenience store in Lyons, Colorado was robbed by an unidentified male armed with a handgun. No one was injured during the robbery and the suspect fled the scene on foot with the cash from the register before law enforcement arrived.

Deputies with the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, along with officers from the Longmont Police Department and the Erie Police Department, responded to the scene. A search with K-9 and drones was conducted. Unfortunately, the suspect was not located and is still at large.

The suspect was described by witnesses as a white male in his early 20's wearing dark colored pants, a black and white hoodie (angel wings on the back) with a blue bandana covering his face. He was armed with a black "1911 style" handgun.
