Suspect Arrested for Burglary of Vacant Home in Superior

Boulder County, Colo. - A male was arrested today on charges of second-degree burglary, criminal mischief, and other offenses after deputies responded to a call in the 200 block of Mohawk Circle in the Town of Superior.

At 11:58 a.m., the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from a homeowner who had stopped by his vacant residence and heard noises inside. The investigation revealed that the suspect had unlawfully entered the home through a basement window and had been staying there for several days.

Upon arrival, sheriff’s deputies established a perimeter and attempted to contact the individual inside. The suspect briefly barricaded himself but was ultimately taken into custody without incident. No injuries were reported.

The suspect, Joshew Brown, date of birth, July 22, 1991 was transported to the Boulder County Jail, and the case remains under investigation.
