UPDATE #2: BCSO Investigating Suspicious Death West of Jamestown

Boulder County, Colo. - The Sheriff’s Office investigation into the circumstances of this death remains ongoing. Following the initial phases of the investigation, which included interviews and the execution of a search warrant, the death no longer appears to be suspicious in nature.

As is standard practice, all death investigations are treated with the same level of thoroughness and care. This approach ensures that all facts and circumstances are examined.

The Boulder County Coroner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death.

At approximately 9:00 PM on December 14, 2024, deputies with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 200 block of Ridge Road, located just west of Jamestown, following a report of a missing person. During the investigation deputies discovered a deceased 49-year-old female.

The circumstances surrounding the death appear suspicious. Detectives with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office are actively investigating and are speaking with two individuals affiliated with the deceased.

The Boulder County Coroner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death as part of their ongoing investigation.

The case remains active and updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
