An arrest warrant was issued for Scott, the charge was Theft (C.R.S. 18-4-401(1)(a)(j)), a Class 2 Felony because the value was one million dollars or more. Mr. Scott was arrested on June 27 and booked in the Boulder County Jail.

Sheriff Curtis Johnson, “It is particularly egregious when someone steals money from victims of a disaster. I’m glad we were able to gather enough evidence to obtain an arrest warrant and that he is now in custody.”
