UPDATE - Lefthand Canyon Aircraft Event on 07/17/2022

Boulder County, Colo. -

The Boulder County Coroner’s Office is investigating the death of four individuals involved in an aircraft related event in the area of Lefthand Canyon Drive on 07/17/2022.

At this time, all individuals have been positively identified as follows:

Ian Kirby, 17-year-old male

Amanda Kirby, 13-year-old female

Sandra Kirby, 48-year-old female

Steven Chase, 32-year-old male

Cause and manner of death are pending further investigation.
