Boulder County, Colo. - BBSC Endurance Sports is holding the TriBoulder triathlon in Boulder County on Saturday, July 23, 2022. See the course maps for the area of the races, which start and finish at Boulder Reservoir.

Westbound Jay Rd. will be closed on Saturday from CO 119/Diagonal Highway to 51st St. from 7:15 to 11 a.m. All other roads involved, including eastbound Jay Rd. from 51st St. to CO 119/Diagonal Highway, will remain open throughout the event.

The first race will start promptly at 7:15 a.m. Saturday with the cyclists entering the roadway at approximately 7:25 a.m. Riders will be single file and spread out, with the last cyclists leaving Boulder Reservoir at approximately 8:30 a.m. All cyclists will be off the road by 11 a.m. A sweep vehicle will follow the last cyclists and alert the police and course marshals along the way so that traffic can return to normal as soon as possible.

If you are traveling through the area during the events, please pay close attention to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Deputies and the volunteer traffic marshals who will be helping to make this a safe situation for everyone involved. When passing a bicyclist, motorists must allow at least three feet of space between their vehicle and a bicyclist. To pass a bicyclist safely, drivers may cross a double yellow center line when oncoming traffic is clear.
