| Other Comments: | BACKGROUND: The Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department (BCPOS) is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced Contractors for the construction of a new Produce handling and washing shed, to be located on the Hygiene Dairy Open Space property at 7694 N. 63rd Street, Longmont. These services are required in order to construct the already engineered building. The building will have floor drains, one (1) bathroom and a handwashing station that the septic and leach field will support. The Engineering and Design work was completed in 2021 by F9 Productions INC., the plans from this Project will be used for the construction of the facility. The selected Contractor will complete all aspects of the project before December 31, 2023. PRE-BID MEETING: A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting is scheduled, starting promptly at 10:00 a.m. on JULY 27, 2022. Interested Parties are asked to meet at 7694 N. 63rd Street, Longmont. Bids from firms not represented at the mandatory, pre-bid meeting, and site visit will not be accepted. WRITTEN INQUIRIES: All inquiries regarding this BID will be submitted via email to the Boulder County Purchasing Office at purchasing@bouldercounty.org on or before 2:00 p.m. AUGUST 1, 2022. A response from the county to all inquiries will be posted and sent via email no later than AUGUST 8, 2022. SUBMITTAL INSTRUCTIONS: BIDs are due at the email box only, listed below, for time and date recording on or before 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time on AUGUST 18, 2022.
