1. Purpose/Background
The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office is seeking responses from qualified public safety software solution providers in three areas. These areas are functionality gaps from our ongoing implementation of a new RMS, JMS, and E-Citation systems. While we were hoping to find a single product suite to handle all Sheriff’s Office business processes, the market just doesn’t have a single solution.
When researching solutions in this space we quickly came to understand the pros and cons of using a single solution vs best of breed in these different areas. We are not tied to either approach and highly encourage proposals in either direction.
The remaining gaps consist of
• Officer certification and Training management solutions
• Internal Affairs case management
• Policy Management, Distribution, Tracking
