Injured mountain bike rider on the Doudy Draw Trail

Boulder County, Colo. - On Sunday, September 13, 2020, at approximately 9:52 a.m., the Boulder County Communications Center was notified of an injured mountain bike rider on the Doudy Draw Trail.

A fifty-two-year-old male from Denver, CO, fell and sustained non-life threatening injuries. Rocky Mountain Rescue Group provided a ¼ mile litter evacuation to an awaiting ambulance. Rocky Mountain Fire Authority provided medical care and ambulance transport to an area hospital. The rescue lasted approximately one and one-half hours.

Agencies assisting with this rescue included: Rocky Mountain Fire Authority, Rocky Mountain Rescue Group, City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks, and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.
