Time Commitment & Minimum Age: 24 hours throughout the year. Must be at least 18 years old.

Training is held at the Boulder County Fairgrounds.

Volunteer time at various locations.

Program Summary:

Wildlife Master volunteers answer questions concerning wildlife/human conflicts. Questions such as getting a skunk from underneath a deck, stopping squirrels from chewing on trees, and stopping flickers from pounding on their house. Volunteers only handle phone messages, they do not visit the callers property.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Volunteers are expected to answer questions in a timely and unbiased manner providing current technical information. They are required to report their contacts to the volunteer coordinator.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum age to participate 18 years, preferably a high school diploma or some wildlife is desired but not required. A phone interview and a background check are required.

April 22, 29 and possible tour on May 13, 2016, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
