Program Summary:

Math and English Tutor:
Support an adult working toward career goals by offering English, Math, knowledge of basic fractions. As adults work on job applications, GED preparation and other skill building tasks, tutors will support them.

Duties and Responsibilities:

We seek patient individuals that can commit to 6-10 hours per month with a minimum of 4 months to support an adult learner each week. Work side by side in the community to support an adult with Math or English skills. Program participants reside in our community housing and are working toward self-sufficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

We seek caring individuals that are reliable and interested in offering consistent time each month for academic skill building. Tutors must complete an application, phone screening, background check and informal interview.
