Program Summary: | Help us plant approximately 300 Ponderosa Pine seedlings at Heil Valley Ranch, which was severely burned when the Cal-Wood Fire erupted just north of Boulder in October 2020. Volunteers should be prepared for a day of physically demanding work on steep slopes, doing extensive digging, planting and hauling water to seedlings. Please be sure to pack a good lunch and snacks for this project. Project details including meeting location, project background and checklist of things to bring with you will be sent to the registration list a few days before the event. Due to the nature and location of this project, volunteers will not be able to come late or leave early. |
