Program Summary:

Boulder County volunteers have spent years caring for our beautiful native seed garden, which helps us grow and collect native seed to use in restoration projects around the county. Native seed is an essential piece to a successful restoration project, as these plants have adapted to the unique environment of Boulder County. The seed we collect will be stored and used on restoration projects such as post-wildfire rehabilitation, grassland/wetland/forest restoration, trails and trailhead improvements, and more!

Come spend a beautiful morning with us hanging out in the garden, collecting and learning about the seed we grow there, and giving a little extra love to our public lands. If we have extra time and will, there are several other projects in the garden that we can work on, as well. It’s a beautiful place to spend time!
