Program Summary:
Join us for trail work at one of our most popular project sites — Ron Stewart Preserve at Rabbit Mountain.
Our mission for the day is to reduce mud on the trail, helping to minimize muddy trail closures during wetter months. Volunteers will dig drainages, move and set rocks, and cut back overgrown brush. Lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided.
Difficulty:
Moderate. The project may involve hiking up to 2 miles with some elevation gain while carrying a backpack with personal gear and one hand tool. Be prepared to get dirty and break a sweat.
