Time Commitment & Minimum Age: | Work at least two one-hour shifts per month between late March and early November. Must be at least 14 years old. |
Location: | The Agricultural Heritage Center is located at 8348 Ute Highway 66 west of Longmont. |
Program Summary: | Volunteers manage the World War I era Victory Garden (heirloom) at the Agricultural Heritage Center at the Lohr/McIntosh Farm. |
Duties and Responsibilities: | Basic responsibilities include planning, planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting the garden. Optional duties include watering trees when needed and maintaining flower beds at the Agricultural Heritage Center. |
