Ride the LD & LX

RTD has renamed the ‘L’ Route to LD and LX!

RTD’s LD1/LD2 and LX1/LX2 bus routes are a great way to travel in and around Longmont, and to and from Lafayette, Broomfield, and downtown Denver. Check out a short informational video.

In early 2016, RTD increased route trips on weekdays and weekends to make it even easier to move around by bus.

Longmont to Denver (southbound)

  • 5 new daily trips on weekdays
  • 7 new Saturday trips
  • Saturday trips now run all day

Denver to Longmont (northbound)

  • 3 new daily trips on weekdays
  • 7 new Saturday trips
  • Saturday trips now run all day

Check out the schedule and see for yourself!

Take the LDs and LXs for easy access to popular destinations in Longmont, Denver, Lafayette, Broomfield, and Westminster.

Why Ride the LD/LX? Because of all the amazing rider benefits!

  1. Have a night on the town – Go shopping, catch a show or a game, or grab a bite to eat.
  2. Save money – Riding the bus everyday saves a lot of money you’d otherwise be spending on your car and on parking.
  3. Maximize your commute – Forget about traffic and surf the web, catch up on work or a good book, or just relax while commuting.
  4. Cover a lot of ground – Connect to other RTD routes including transit and rail to DIA.
  5. Help save the planet – Riding will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions released into the atmosphere by reducing the number of vehicles on the road.
