Solar Switch

Go solar for less cost and less hassle with Boulder County Solar Switch, a partnership between Boulder County and Solar United Neighbors. Previously, the county ran a similar program with Solar United Neighbors called the Boulder County Solar Co-op.

Going solar with Solar Switch is simple:

  1. Register by November 1.
  2. Pay $150* to get in touch with an installer.
  3. Decide whether solar is right for you.
  4. Sign a contract at Solar Switch’s discounted group rate.
  5. Installers get started!

*The $150 deposit will go directly toward your installation if you decide to sign a contract. If you decide solar is not right for you, the full $150 deposit will be refunded.

Do you have questions or want to learn more? Please visit the Solar Switch website or contact Solar United Neighbors at coteam@solarunitedneighbors.org for support.
