The distribution of Sheriff’s Office shoulder patches to collectors is coordinated by the Sheriff’s Cadet Post #500. The Cadet program is a law enforcement career orientation program sponsored by the Sheriff’s Office in cooperation with the Boy Scouts of America. It permits young people to learn about the law enforcement profession first hand and aids them in making their decision as to whether or not they wish to pursue a career in law enforcement.

The Sheriff has authorized the Cadets to sell the Sheriff’s Office patch as a fundraiser. If you are interested in purchasing a Sheriff’s Office or Cadet program patch, please print, and complete the form and return it with your check or money order (payable to Explorer Post 500) to:
