The Boulder County Jail Court and Transport Team ensures that in-custody defendants at the Boulder County Jail attend all scheduled court appearances, both in-person and via video, within the 20th Judicial District, located in the City of Boulder and the City of Longmont. Video court appearances extend beyond the 20th Judicial District. The Team collaborates with Judicial Districts across the United States to ensure individuals in-custody at the Boulder County Jail can appear remotely as needed.
The Boulder County Jail Court and Transport Team transports in-custody individuals to all county and state correctional facilities across Colorado. The Team also transports these individuals to medical appointments and various mental health institutions in Colorado. The Team will transport in-custody juvenile offenders to the various state and local juvenile offender facilities located in Colorado as needed.
