In Colorado, you can pay property taxes all at once or in two equal payments.

Payment Due Dates for 2026

Two half payments

Full payment

Important Information About Payments:

  • Do not mail cash.
  • Make checks and money orders out to “Boulder County Treasurer.”
  • There are no discounts for early payment.
  • For taxes due this year, the postmark date on mailed payments is the date you paid. For tax lien redemptions, your payment date is when we receive your payment in the office.
  • You may owe extra fees if you make your payment after Aug 1.
  • After Sep. 1, pay only with certified funds (cashier’s check, money order, cash).

Please call or email our office for exact amounts if your payment is late.
