Report a Code Violation

The Boulder County Community Planning & Permitting Department is responsible for enforcing compliance with Building Code, Noxious Weed, Rubbish, and Zoning regulations in unincorporated Boulder County. For issues concerning properties inside city limits, please contact the Municipality Contacts Within Boulder County.

Report a Land Use Code violation

Report a suspected Boulder County Land Use Code violation in one of three ways:

All submissions are considered an item of public record and must be made available by request under the Colorado Open Records Act. Public information may include email address and other supplied personal information unless you choose to make an anonymous complaint. Please note, if you make an anonymous complaint, staff may not be able to verify that a code violation exists.
