Planning Commission Public Hearing, May 20, 2020
On May 20, 2020, staff presented the updated and redesigned Boulder County Comprehensive Plan (BCCP) document. Along with the graphics refresh, amendments to the document Introduction and overall organization were proposed. Final revisions to BCCP-20-0002 incorporate feedback obtained from public hearings held by Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners on February 19, 2020 and March 31, 2020 respectively.

Staff presented the draft proposed redesigned Boulder County Comprehensive Plan (BCCP) document to the Board of County Commissioners for approval. The Commissioners voted (3-0) in approval.

The Community Planning & Permitting Department has converted the Boulder County Comprehensive Plan document to a new graphic template to update the look and feel of the document and provide design consistency. Along with the graphics refresh, amendments to the document Introduction and overall organization are proposed. The hearing was web streamed and archived on the Open Meeting Portal.

Background
The Boulder County Comprehensive Plan (BCCP) is the county’s primary policy document to guide land use and related decision making in unincorporated Boulder County.
The Community Planning & Permitting Department has converted and redesigned the BCCP to refresh the look and feel of the document, provide design consistency, and modernize usability. In addition to the graphics refresh, amendments to the document Introduction and overall organization are proposed.
