The Wally Toevs fishing pier at Walden Ponds Wildlife Habitat is closed until further notice due to structural issues. The pond remains open for fishing. - Carolyn Holmberg Preserve at Rock Creek Farm

The western end of the reservoir is closed for nesting birds until Aug. 31. The seasonal wildlife closure normally begins April 1, but it is closed early this year because birds are already nesting.
