Trail/Property Description
Nelson Loop at Hall Ranch A section of the Nelson Loop is closed until May 2 for bridge maintenance. Closure Map
Kinglet Trail on Tolland Ranch Closed for the season.
Boulder Canyon Trail The western end of the trail is closed due to the City of Boulder’s Chapman Drive Trailhead project. Learn More
Cradleboard Trail at Carolyn Holmberg Preserve at Rock Creek Farm Access to the Cradleboard Trail from the southern end of S. 104th St. is closed. Learn More

Muddy Trails

Shortcutting around muddy trails greatly increases erosion and destroys vegetation. If a trail is reported to be in poor condition, consider using another trail.

Tips for Muddy Trails

  • Use trails early in the morning before it gets too muddy
  • Go through mud, not around it – trails take years to heal, so get muddy
  • Use a different trail if it is too muddy
