An event for local businesses operating in East Boulder County
Boulder County, Colo. - Workforce Boulder County is hosting a special morning event for East Boulder County businesses who are seeking to expand their recruitment strategies, diversify their workforce, and learn more about local work-based learning programs. The Let’s Talk Business breakfast event takes place at 8 a.m., June 6, in Lafayette.

When: Thursday, June 6, 8 – 10 a.m.
Where: The Gatehouse at the Lionsgate Event Center, 1055 S. 112th in Lafayette
Cost: There is no charge for this breakfast event, but registration is required
If you are having trouble connecting to talent for your job openings, would like to hear about options to expand your recruitment strategies, diversify your workforce, or host an intern, this event is for you. Featured presenters will include the Colorado State Demographer, the Young Invincibles organization, and Workforce Boulder County. To attend, please RSVP to wfbiz@bouldercounty.org by June 4.
The focus of the breakfast event is to explore how Workforce Boulder County can partner with East Boulder County businesses to address the challenges related to hiring and retaining new talent. The Colorado State Demographer will present current demographics and upcoming trends that will impact the local workforce. The Colorado office of Young Invincibles, a national organization focusing on economic opportunity and other issues impacting young adults, will share information about equity in apprenticeship programs across the state and identify opportunities for growth.
Workforce Boulder County serves on average 12,000 job seekers and 1,500 businesses every year. They can facilitate the job matching process by assisting job seekers with skills acquisition, screening, and referrals to business, to fill key positions within the local labor market.
