Walden Ponds Wildlife Habitat trails will reopen Saturday, March 30.

The west side has be closed for the City of Boulder Main Sewer Improvements Project.

Boulder County, Colo. - Trails on the west end of Walden Ponds Wildlife Habitat will reopen on Saturday, March 30. The trails have been closed since October for the ongoing City of Boulder Main Sewer Improvements Project.

The project is still underway. Duck Pond water levels have been lowered temporarily to help minimize construction impacts and the trail surrounding Duck Pond will remain closed for the duration of the project.

All of City of Boulder Sawhill Ponds trails remain closed. For more information about the the City of Boulder project, please visit the Main Sewer Improvements Project webpage.

All trails at Walden Ponds Wildlife Preserve will reopen except the trail around Duck Pond. The City of Boulder Sawhill Ponds trails will also remain closed.
