Two Suspects in Custody Following Reported Road Rage Shooting on U.S. 36

Boulder County, Colo. - On June 11, 2026, at approximately 5:09 p.m., the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a 911 call from a motorist reporting that their Dodge Ram Truck had been struck by gunfire while traveling eastbound on U.S. Highway 36 near McCaslin Boulevard.

The reporting party advised that the suspect vehicle, described as a Ford Mustang, continued eastbound on U.S. 36 toward Denver following the incident.

Deputies responded and, with assistance from the Arvada Police Department and the Colorado State Patrol, located the suspect vehicle in Arvada. Two adult male suspects were taken into custody near the intersection of 64th Avenue and North Raleigh Street without incident.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office is the primary investigating agency. This remains an active and ongoing investigation. Currently, there is no known threat to the public, and investigators do not believe there are any outstanding suspects.
