Parks & Open Space Foundation Accepting Applications for 2025 Project Funding
Deadline to apply is Wednesday, March 19.
Boulder County, Colo. - The Boulder County Parks & Open Space Foundation is accepting applications for 2025 project funding requests. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, March 19.
The foundation is the Parks & Open Space department’s non-profit supporting organization funded by donations from generous community members.
This year, the foundation board especially encourages applications for projects that provide innovation, projects needing seed funding or have funding gaps, and projects that provide benefits to historically marginalized communities. Projects that foster collaboration and partnership with other organizations are also encouraged.
Application Instructions
Interested parties need to complete the application and email the required budget spreadsheet to ParksFoundationInfo@bouldercounty.gov. The deadline is Wednesday, March 19. The foundation board will discuss proposals at its April 8 meeting and funding decisions will be communicated in mid-April. The board will typically consider funding projects for no more than three years.
Last year, the foundation supported a range of projects including:

- $6,000 to help cover expenses for Ranger Grady’s Working Dog, Dottie.
