Marshall Fire Rebuild Expo set for Saturday, April 15
Free event will include 40 exhibitors, including local builders and contractors, financial institutions, lumber and materials suppliers
News Release from HBA:
The Home Builders Association (HBA) of Metro Denver, working with its volunteer Marshall Fire Task Force, will host a Marshall Fire Rebuild Expo on Saturday, April 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ascent Community Church in Louisville. The event is free to the public and will include 40 exhibitors—ranging from local builders and contractors, financial institutions, lumber and materials vendors, local governments, nonprofits and other businesses dedicated to the rebuilding efforts in Louisville, Superior and Boulder County. All of the exhibitors at the Rebuild Expo are HBA members in good standing.
With more than 625 properties still not permitted for reconstruction, there remains a strong need to provide information and support to impacted residents and local businesses about construction, finances, insurance and other parts of the rebuilding process.
The Rebuild Expo is an extension of the work conducted by the HBA’s Marshall Fire Task Force. The volunteer committee created a 21-part free educational series for residents and businesses impacted by the fire that addresses many of the issues facing those in the rebuilding and recovery process, including selecting builders and contractors, understanding contracts, legal issues and insurance, securing financing and loans, and much more. The first eight sessions were held in-person, and the remaining sessions were offered online. Those sessions can be viewed online by visiting hbadenver.com/marshall-fire-resources.
