59-year-old male found deceased near his vehicle on High View Drive

Boulder County, Colo. -

On Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 1:52pm, the Boulder County Communications Center received notification of a deceased male on the side of the road in the 200 block of High View Drive in unincorporated Boulder County, Colorado. The reporting party, a volunteer firefighter, was on his way to an unrelated medical call when he happened across a truck parked along the side of the road. He got out to check on the truck and found a 59 year-old male, obviously deceased, on the side of the road next to the truck.

Deputies and additional medical personnel responded to the scene and confirmed that the male was deceased. Detectives from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office and investigators from the Boulder County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene to continue the investigation. At this time, the cause and manner of the man’s death is still under investigation, but foul play is not suspected. The decedent is not believed to be a resident of that neighborhood/immediate area. The decedent’s identity is being withheld until notification to next of kin can be made.
