Juvenile Mentoring Program (JUMP)

Boulder, Colo. - Community Justice Services, in collaboration with the 20th Judicial District Probation department, has a new Juvenile Mentoring Program (JUMP) and is actively recruiting engaging and dedicated adult volunteers to mentor young people involved in the justice system in Boulder County. Both individual and group mentors are needed to provide mentoring and guidance to a young person aged 11 to 21 by building a positive ongoing relationship.

Individual Mentors will engage the young person in healthy, pro-social activities through regular one-on-one meetings. They serve as a positive role model, encourage community connections, and offer support that will help motivate the teen to successfully move through the system and life.

Group Mentors will support activities and groups that are hosted by the JUMP Coordinator, interacting with young people at the activity in positive and supportive ways and assist with group management and coordination.

For more information on the position and the application process, please contact Ashley Carlson, JUMP Coordinator, ashley.carlson@judicial.state.co.us or complete the Interest Form.
