Say Hello to Colorado Carshare
eGo carshare has turned 22 years old this year and to celebrate this milestone they have announced their name has changed from eGo to Colorado CarShare.
"With reflection on these past 22 years, and many conversations on our future to come, our board felt that our birthday was the perfect time to reaffirm who we are and what we stand for.
And so,
- In recognition of our continued love for serving our home state of Colorado
- In commitment to our goal of being the nation’s first 100% electric carsharing nonprofit
- In dedication to building a stronger, more resilient organization and a more sustainable future for Coloradans.
- Allow us to reintroduce ourselves!
We’re Colorado CarShare. Same mission, with a fresh commitment to our principles and to our shared future. Buckle up—we’re just getting started."

ZTrip has adapted to COVID-19 Pandemic and is available to take clients to get tested for COVID-19. In order to ensure driver and rider safety, plastic separators have been added between the driver and passengers in addition to increased cleaning and sanitation for all vehicles. ZTrip will add an additional $50 cleaning fee on top of regular price of the trip. Ztrip can serve as an option if a client needs to be taken to be tested for COVID-19, especially if an agency can help cover the cost of a taxi trip.
Micromobility Program, City of Boulder
The City of Boulder is looking to evolve its current Shared Micromobility Program to expand the service areas and include new technology, including e-bikes and e-scooters. Staff will issue a request for proposals in 1st quarter 2021 to provide micromobility services and will select an operator(s) to provide both shared e-bikes and e-scooters. City Council has directed staff to include the operation of shared e-scooters only east of 28th Street as part of the initial program. Staff anticipates a refined or new program to be operational 3rd quarter 2021.
