Boulder County, Colo. -

On May 26, 2025 at approximately 10:22 p.m., Boulder County Communications received a report of a possible structure fire in the 1500 block of S. Foothills Hwy in Boulder County.

Crews from the Mountain View Fire Department responded and quickly extinguished the fire. The Multi-Agency Fire Investigation Team (MAFIT) responded to investigate the explosion. The Boulder County Sheriff's Office also assisted with this incident.

It is believed this fire was the result of an explosion related to a recently installed gas stove. The home was deemed a total loss, however there were no injuries.
