Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County and the City of Boulder are hosting a Community Roundtable and Open House on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from noon to 3 p.m. at the East Boulder Community Center in Boulder, as part of the Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan update.

All Boulder Valley community members are invited to help further define the direction of the plan and explore how we can achieve our goals. This event will include an opportunity to learn about the plan and update, and in-depth roundtable discussions on key topics with fellow community members and staff.

The Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan guides how our community will look and feel, the transportation networks that connect us and how we face changes to our natural and built environments for years to come. The update process began in October 2024 and includes opportunities for anyone in the Boulder Valley who is passionate about their community, open space, climate action, transportation, housing and more to help shape Boulder’s future.

So far, the city and county have received over 2,500 community comments and suggestions which have sparked big ideas, refined key focus areas and priorities and contributed to a proposed vision statement. As we kick-off the next step in the update process, A Boulder Direction, we will dive deeper into those priorities and ideas and explore potential solutions, challenges and opportunities. The feedback gathered will be used to inform potential policy options and priorities later this year.
