Head Start now enrolling additional children for Lafayette locations

Enroll your 3- and 4-year-olds for the 2019-20 school year

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County Head Start has openings for new enrollment at their Lafayette locations for the school year beginning Aug. 22. Head Start is a comprehensive and unique child development program for children from families where the adults work low-wage jobs, or receive social assistance such as TANF and SSI; as well as foster children, children experiencing homelessness, and children with disabilities. The program is designed to meet the individual needs of children through a close partnership between staff and parents.

Current openings are at both Lafayette locations – The Lafayette Community School (1135 Cimarron Drive) and at the newly opened Dagny School at the YMCA of Northern Colorado (2800 Dagny Way).

Boulder County Head Start provides a full-day preschool and serves a diverse group of young children and families. This includes a bilingual program for all native Spanish-speaking students to receive instruction in their home language while building their English-language proficiency.
