Boulder County, Colo. - Public Works Resource Conservation Division (RCD) is offering a FREE compost workshop with a Master Gardener to help both those new to composting and seasoned veterans learn more about this valuable waste reduction and soil enhancement process.

Fall Compost Workshop

Class size is limited, so please register online today. Backyard composting is a great way to reduce a household's carbon footprint. The workshop will cover the following and more:

• Cleaning up a vegetable garden
• Getting perennials ready for winter
• Winterizing your backyard compost pile
• Preparing for spring composting
