EnergySmart Now Makes It Easy To Donate To Energy Outreach Colorado

Participants can now donate a portion of their energy efficiency rebates to help lower income neighbors stay warm this winter

Boulder County, Colo. - Since 1989, Energy Outreach Colorado’s mission has been to ensure that all Coloradans are able to meet their energy needs through utility bill payment assistance, heating system repairs or replacement, and critical weatherization assistance. Now EnergySmart participants who have received rebates for their own energy efficiency or renewable energy improvements can easily donate any portion of those savings to support Energy Outreach Colorado’s assistance to Boulder County low income families. In exchange, EnergySmart donors will receive documentation verifying their tax-deductible donation. Participants can make their home more energy efficient and help a neighbor in need as well.

To find out how simple it is to donate, contact an EnergySmart advisor today at www.EnergySmartYES.com or call 303-544-1000.

“For the past nine years EnergySmart has taken the hassle out for homeowners who want to make their homes more energy efficient, comfortable, and safe. Now it’s easier than ever to help lower-income families to also have homes that are healthier and cheaper to keep warm this winter,” said Susie Strife, Boulder County Sustainability Coordinator.
