Gross Reservoir Community Update –

March 2024

Message from
Boulder County's Gross Reservoir Mitigation Fund Coordinator

Greetings Community Members!

Households eligible to receive a payment from the Gross Reservoir Community Mitigation Fund have six weeks remaining to claim an award. Award Forms are due by April 30, 2024. No payments will be issued for claims received after April 30.

As of March 19, there are still 50 remaining claims that have not been sent in or uploaded to the online form submission application at boco.org/gross-payments.

If you submitted a claim before the end of last month (February), and have not received a payment, please email the Boulder County Commissioners' Office promptly at grossreservoir@bouldercounty.gov.

A 60-day reminder postcard was mailed to all outstanding households at the end of February. Full award letters were sent last August (and again in January) to households eligible to receive a payment from the Denver Water v. Boulder County Settlement Agreement.

Note: If you did not receive an award letter from the Boulder County Commissioners' Office, your household is not eligible for a payment.

Postcards (front and back images shown below) were sent in late February to remind outstanding households that they had 60 days remaining to file an award claim.

If you received a postcard and have not sent in your claim, please do so as soon as possible. Six weeks remain to claim your award. To ensure your claim is received by the April 30 deadline, please do not wait until the last possible day to mail or upload your forms.
