Boulder County, Colo. - The annual Boulder County Fair is back and it’s a Zero Waste event. Zero Waste Champion volunteers are essential in making sure fairgoers follow zero waste practices. As a volunteer, you will check on the zero waste “trios” of recycling, landfill, and compost bins to ensure waste streams are uncontaminated. The fair runs from Thursday, August 11 through Sunday, August 14. Sign up for one or multiple shifts. No prior experience necessary. Must be 13 years or older to volunteer.
