Boulder County Elections to conduct candidate lot drawing for 2024 General Election

Ballot positions will be determined for Boulder County Commissioner District 2 contest


Boulder County, Colo. – A lot drawing will be held to determine the order of candidate names for the Boulder County Commissioner District 2 contest on the ballot for the November 5 General Election.

Ballot positions will be drawn for the Boulder County Commissioner District 2 contest. The process will take less than 10 minutes to complete and is open for the public to observe online. Candidate remote observation is welcome, but not required.

What: Candidate Lot Drawing for 2020 General Election – Boulder County Commissioner contest*

When: Monday, July 22 at 12 p.m.

Where: The drawing will be held at the Boulder County Elections office, but members of the public can join remotely to watch. View online using Microsoft Teams or call-in to listen at 720-400-7859. Conference ID is 361395872#.

The county only conducts lot drawings for county contested county contests. Contests for state and federal offices are determined by a state process and city/town candidate order is provided by those jurisdictions.
