Board of County Commissioners to hold two Land Use Code Public Hearings Dec. 12

Proposed Small Cell Wireless Facilities, Zoning Map Amendments will be presented to Commissioners


Boulder County, Colo. - The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) are scheduled to hear two proposed Boulder County Land Use Code amendments in public hearings scheduled for Dec. 12, 2019. The hearings will be held at the Boulder County Courthouse, Commissioners’ Hearing Room, 3rd floor, 1325 Pearl St., Boulder.

Board of County Commissioners Public Hearing: DC-19-0001 Land Use Code Text Amendments related to Small Cell Wireless Facilities

Staff will present proposed Land Use Code Amendments to Article 4-514 and other relevant sections to address an update of the Telecommunication Facilities Code. Public testimony will be taken. Action Requested: Decision

Staff will present proposed comprehensive zoning map amendments for the Floodplain Overlay District, specifically the Boulder County Floodplain and Floodway, based upon floodplain remapping of the Colorado Hazard Mapping Project, Federal Emergency Management Agency Risk MAP and other best available data. Public testimony will be taken. Action Requested: Decision
