Attend Boulder County Senior Law Day on Saturday, Sept. 28

Helpful legal information for older adults and their caregivers

Boulder County, Colo. - The annual Boulder County Senior Law Day helps older adults, their family members, and caregivers make informed, positive decisions about legal, health, and other important matters. This year’s event takes place on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Boulder Jewish Community Center. Attendees can learn more about a wide variety of legal matters by attending expert presentations, one-on-one attorney consultations, and talking with providers of local services and resources.

What: Boulder County Senior Law Day
When: Saturday, Sept. 28, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Where: Boulder Jewish Community Center, 6007 Oreg Ave., Boulder
Cost: Free if registered by Sept. 26. Otherwise $5 at the door.

Registration for the event is free if you register online by Sept. 26 at: boco.org/SeniorLawDay2019. Walk-in registration will be available the day of the event for $5. The doors to the event will open at 8 a.m., and a complimentary Senior Law Day Handbook and continental breakfast will be included

Highlights of the day:

  • 9 a.m. - Keynote address by Boulder County District Attorney Michael Dougherty
  • 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Sessions hosted by local experts on legal issues related to aging
  • Ask-a-Lawyer personal conferences, available on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Exhibitors of local services and resources
