Agricultural Heritage Center at Lohr/McIntosh Farm Opens for Summer Season, Friday, April 1

Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Boulder County, Colo. -The Boulder County Parks & Open Space Agricultural Heritage Center opens for the season Friday, April 1.

At the farm, visitors can enjoy the rural setting and mountain views while learning about the rich agricultural history of Boulder County.

Site Highlights include:

  • Farm animals on site April through October including chickens, pigs, horses, and goats.
  • 1909 farmhouse with furnishings from the early 1900s.
  • Interactive exhibits in the big red barn for all ages to enjoy, including a real tractor cab and new bilingual exhibits.
  • Two barns, milk house, heirloom vegetable garden, and many historical planting and harvesting implements.

Hours: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 1 through Oct. 31.

Location: 8348 Ute Highway 66, northwest of Longmont.

Cost: Admission is free.
