Aging well in Boulder County – the County Commissioners March Town Hall 


Boulder County, Colo. -- Boulder County residents are invited to join the Board of County Commissioners for a Town Hall meeting on aging well and other topics of interest to the community on Thursday, March 16 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Sunshine Fire Protection District, Station 1, 311 County Road 83, Boulder.

Boulder County Area Agency on Aging advocates for funds and delivers services that promote the well-being, independence and dignity of older adults, people living with disabilities, family, and informal caregivers and Veterans. Residents can learn more about current projects in the AAA 2022 annual report.

"We know by 2030, adults 65 and over are expected to comprise 20% of the population of Boulder County,” said Commissioner Claire Levy. Whether it’s a program on Medicare basics, caregiver events, or nutrition counseling, many of our residents will need these resources and we are eager to discuss what’s available and what interests our neighbors have regarding aging in Boulder County.”

Join the Commissioners and Christine Vogel, manager of the Boulder County Area Agency on Aging for a presentation followed by a Q&A session with the Board on this or other topics.
