Aging Mastery Program for Caregivers starts in Louisville Feb. 21, and Longmont March 25
Register now for this six-week program
Boulder County, Colo. - Life expectancy has increased dramatically over the past 50 years, yet societal expectations of older adults and their caregivers has changed very little. Sponsored by the Boulder County Area Agency on Aging, a Community Services Division, the Aging Mastery Program® for Caregivers teaches about the impacts of caregiving and provides tools to stay healthier and happier throughout the caregiver journey. Classes are starting soon in Louisville and Longmont.
What: Louisville Aging Mastery for Caregivers Program
When: Thursdays, Feb. 21 – March 28, 1:30 to 4 pm.
Where: 1130 S. Kestrel Lane, Louisville
What: Longmont Aging Mastery for Caregivers Program
When: Mondays, March 25 – April 29, 1:30 – 4 p.m.
Where: St. Vrain Hub, 515 Coffman, Longmont

Designed to addresses the special needs and circumstances of being a caregiver, the goal of the program is to educate caregivers about the impacts of caregiving and provide tools to stay healthier and happier throughout the caregiver journey.
- Create your own playbook for aging well using actionable goals, sustainable behaviors, and peer support, all in the context of your life as a caregiver.
- Make and maintain small but impactful changes in your health behaviors, financial well-being, and enrichment in later life.
- Meet new friends, provide support and encouragement to your peers, and become more involved in your community.
