45-Year-Old Male Arrested in the Town of Lyons on Outstanding Felony Warrants
Boulder County, Colo. - Travis Stadheim, a 45-year-old male, wanted on several outstanding felony warrants from South Dakota was located today in the 200 block of Main Street in the Town of Lyons, Boulder County, by the United States Marshals Service. The Colorado Violent Offender Task Force, as well as officers and deputies from neighboring law enforcement agencies safely apprehended Stadheim at approximately 3:00 p.m. He is being booked into the Boulder County Jail on his warrants.
A school in Lyons was put on secure status during the operation, and traffic was briefly diverted on Highway 36 during the arrest, out of an abundance of caution.
The Colorado Violent Offender Task Force (COVOTF) is comprised of Deputy U.S. Marshals and sworn Special Deputy U.S. Marshals from numerous Colorado Law Enforcement Agencies, including the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Boulder Police Department, Colorado Department of Corrections, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, among others. COVOTF actively seeks out and apprehends wanted felons throughout Colorado and the United States.
