31-Year-Old Woman Arrested in Connection with Porch Piracy
Boulder County, Colo. - On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, 31-year-old Brittney Enwall was arrested on charges of theft of mail, possession of burglary tools, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of drugs, and unlawful possession of amphetamines.
The investigation began early this morning at approximately 5:30 a.m., when Boulder County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of 8300 Greenwood Drive on a report of a woman passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle. Deputies identified the driver as Enwall. During their investigation, deputies observed signs of drug impairment. They also found numerous pieces of mail inside the vehicle, including letters and unopened packages from nearby homes that were not addressed to or owned by Enwall.
Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Detectives sorted through the stolen mail and packages to identify all affected victims. Detectives then went to the victims’ residences to return the stolen property and assess the value of each item.
Additional property was recovered from Enwall’s vehicle, including bicycles and computer equipment, which investigators believe may also be stolen. However, the owners of those items have not yet been identified. If you were recently a victim of theft in the Niwot or South Longmont area, please call the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency dispatch line at 303-441-4444. If you have any information that may help with the investigation, you are encouraged to contact the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office tips line at 303-441-3674.
The case report number for this incident is 25-02061.
As in every criminal case, these charges are merely an accusation. The defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
